African Mother
I have been with African mothers all my life, married, mothered, making love. I believe these mothers need to be incredible. The decisions and authority of men have led to death and destruction, men don’t share possibilities, to balance the world properly. I try to draw the beauty of mothers with equal possibilities to decide, direct and demonstrate knowledge, kinship, and kindness.
I love the African mother, not as a womanizer, but I do want to lift African mothers up, investigate their minds, and see their true beauty in kindness, tenderness, and empathy toward the universe. I believe I have been drawn into African mothers’ beauty, I have been powerless to the dreams I have for these mothers, not all of these mothers have taken me to this fantasy, but the ones who have caused joy and pain.
