How can we be in slavery on a plantation with a bunch of other slaves and then I kill the Slavemaster and look around and see no one is happy and start to look at me as the problem because now we have to do something on our own and we don’t know what to do next the dilemma is we never had to think about what liberation looks like can be like can feel like and want to fall back into the conditioning and training of slavery so we seek a Slavemaster not to be easily killed off and then make doubly sure to expose any plots threats and enemies to the master and the uprising is erased from our minds to preserve the next generation from awakening kinship “I don’t know about the rest of y’all but I am going to do something”
